this is a very nice place to go the staff makes you confortable to be there

this website is very nice.

My name is Peyton Wappler and this is my story of my first time going to the orthodontist to get my braces prepared:

At first when I went to get the blue rubber rings between my teeth (I had to have them on for a week, so I can get my braces) I heard that when you put them on, it was going to hurt a lot. Plus, someone told me from my school that it was going to be really uncomfortable for a while when they place them in and it takes hours just to place them in. I didn't believe him at first, but when I got to the orthodontics, I asked the orthodontist if it really will have an uncomfortable feeling and she said, "Unfortunately, yes. But only for one day." I still felt a bit nervous though because she also said that the part when you get the rubber band in. First, I went to get an x-ray for my teeth. Since I was still a bit nervous, I tried not to move, but I was a bit shaky. Thank goodness we didn't have to retake it. :P The funny thing was, I didn't brush my teeth last night (but I did brush them yesterday morning) nor this morning. So they were kind of yellow, but I was going to brush them right away once I got home. Though, even though my teeth were a bit yellow, I didn't have any cavities, but I still wanted to avoid getting cavities by brushing my yellow teeth to make them all clean and color-free. L.O.L.! So then after I got my x-rays, we went to the back room where the orthodontists do all their cleaning and braces. I started to get a bit scared and felt like I didn't want to do it. The orthodontist told me that I won't have to eat hard food all week and just only ice-cream. ^w^ YES!!! So I changed my mind about leaving and decided to avoid my fears and just get it over with. The orthodontist took pictures of me (maybe she wants to get a before braces picture and after braces picture? I don't know really.) standing up and then when I laid down onto the chair, she told me to pull this plastic thing that she put in the left side of my mouth to take more pictures. Then she pulled it as well, and when she did it kinda hurt a bit, but not as bad. She asked me if I was alright and I told her I was fine. Then she did the same for the front, the bottom, and the right side and yes more pictures. :P So the next thing she did was, she took out a metal teeth frame which seemed like they had one each for bottom and top. There were different sizes so she took out a whole bunch and measured my teeth. Some were too big and some were too small and it felt a bit painful. But one pair was perfect. No pain at all! :) So then she got this mold or something and filled the mold into the teeth frame for each bottom and top set of my teeth. She placed them against my teeth for about 1 minute. It had a strange taste in my mouth like she said. I asked when we were going to do the rubber bands and she said right now. I was like o_o. I was perfectly calm, no sudden movements, and I tried not to bite her fingers. L.O.L.! The rubber things were little blue circular rubber things attached to dental floss. There were eight of them total. I was like O_O. Again, perfectly calm. But instead of taking 1-3 hours of doing only that, it only took like 3 minutes. Though, when she put them in, it did hurt a bit, but not as bad. And when she was done, it didn't even hurt anymore! :D It was a lot better than I expected it to be. They even gave me a free t-shirt! And a membership card! (Which is why I have this typed. :P) I had a great experience during my first time at the orthodontist getting prepared for my braces. Next week, I'll get the rubber bands out of my mouth and get my new braces! But that, is another story! Until next week! :D Thank you Explore Orthodontics!

Best experience of my 4 years working with such a great staff!
